Cancellations primarily affect several 10-night Eastern Mediterranean sailings on board Norwegian Jade, which will now call on Istanbul, Turkey and Naples instead of Alexandria.
The ship's 11-night Eastern Mediterranean and the Holy Land sailings October 26, 2013 to April 12, 2014, have also been affected, though changes go well beyond just Egyptian ports of call. The 11-night sailings will visit the Western Med instead, with visits to Turkey, Cyprus, Israel and Egypt all canceled, and stops in Italy, Monaco, France, Spain and Tunisia added.
Changes have also been made to the Norwegian Spirit's nine night Canary Island sailings from Barcelona. Calls on Santa Cruz de Tenerife have been replaced with visits to Casablanca, Morocco, on all sailings from October 26, 2013 to April 15, 2014. The same change is in effect for Norwegian Spirit's nine-night Canary Island sailings from Malaga, Spain, from November 2, 2013 to April 13, 2014.
